Anoche se llevó a cabo la entrega de los DICE Awards 2020, premios para videojuegos entregados por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Interactivas. Ahí, se celebró lo mejor del gaming en 2019. Algo curioso es que, pese a que dominaron en las nominaciones, ni Control ni Death Stranding se llevaron el premio el Juego del Año.

En la categoría a Juego del Año estaban dominados Control, Death Stranding y Disco Elysium, 3 juegos que llamaron mucho la atención en The Game Awards 2019. Dicho esto, en la entrega de premios de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Interactivas el mercededor de este honor fue Untitled Goose Game, el indie en el que tomas el control de un ganso que se dedica a hacer caos.
Ahora bien, aunque no se llevaron el premio máximo, Control y Death Stranding si tuvieron una buena noche. El juego de Remedy Entertainment fue nombrado como el Mejor Juego de Acción del año, además de que se llevó reconocimientos como el de logro sobresaliente en dirección y logro sobresaliente en dirección de arte. Por otra parte, Death Stranding se llevó los premios en logro sobresaliente en diseño de audio y logro técnico.
