Compulsion Games announced South of Midnight in June 2023, surprising everyone with its setting, mechanics, and unique characters. Since then, it has become one of the most anticipated Xbox games, looking quite promising.

According to the insider eXtas1s, Xbox Series X|S and PC players won’t have to wait long to learn more about this adventure. According to his sources, South of Midnight will be featured at The Game Awards 2024, where its release date will be confirmed.

What stands out in the report is that, supposedly, the game will be one of Xbox’s first major releases in 2025. The insider claims it will debut sometime in March next year.

Other sources do not entirely agree with this information. Jez Corden, editor of Windows Central, stated that South of Midnight won’t be present at The Game Awards 2024. With that said, it’s best to keep our expectations in check and wait for the event.
