The players of Xbox will be able to enjoy significant releases and a few exclusives in the coming months. Unfortunately, one of the most anticipated releases for Microsoft consoles has just been delayed again and will take a couple of additional months to reach the hands of the players.
We are referring to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, the title of GSC Game World that has suffered multiple delays for various reasons. The title was planned to arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 5, but franchise fans will have to be patient and wait a little longer.

Through a statement, GSC Game World informed players that it needs more time to complete the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Specifically, the studio will take a couple of additional months to polish the experience as much as possible and deliver a good title.
Due to this, the game will no longer debut in September. Now, it will be available for Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 20. It is important to note that it is still planned as a day 1 release for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
“We know you may be tired of waiting and we appreciate your patience. These additional 2 months will give us the opportunity to fix more 'unexpected anomalies' (or simply 'bugs', as they are called). We will always be grateful for your continued support and understanding; they mean a lot to us. We are as eager as you to finally release the game and have you try it,” said the developer.
To make the additional wait more bearable, the company and Xbox will share a special video with never-before-seen material about the game's development process. It will feature interviews and an attractive behind-the-scenes look at the gameplay and the world of the sequel. It will be available starting August 12.
