Paramount recently canceled the Halo series after 2 seasons that left fans of the Xbox and 343 Industries franchise dissatisfied. The plan is for the live-action production to continue in some form, but details about its future have not yet been revealed.
Fans of the saga hope that the project will be revived with better results than it had with Paramount. Players were dissatisfied with the shortcomings of the adaptation, so many hope there won’t be a Season 3 and that the series will be rebooted.
In fact, some people have already identified a model to follow. They hope the Halo series returns with a production that meets the quality standards of the recent Fallout adaptation, which was a resounding success worldwide.
Fans of Halo Demand a Series Like Fallout
Die-hard Halo fans believe that Season 1 of the live-action series was a disaster and failed to capture the true essence of the franchise. On the other hand, they think things improved with Season 2 and that the future looked promising, but the production was canceled.
Part of the community believes that the series’ creators made a mistake by not adapting iconic moments that fans would have loved to see on screen. So they hope that the series will return with better direction or be completely rebooted.
“I’d say let it die and rest for a while. Then reboot it a few years later starting from scratch and actually respecting the source material. It doesn’t deserve a 3rd season. Reboot it and do it right this time,” said one player.
