This morning a new report was published with interesting details about the controls and the size that the rumored console will have. Some revelations, specifically those related to its controllers, generated concern in several gamers.

According to Vandal, Switch 2 will have the same concept as Nintendo's current console in terms of controls. This means that the company will go for undockable controllers like the Joy-Con; however, there will be a difference.
The console would not have the rails to dock the controllers as in the current Switch, as the new system would feature a docking system by magnetism. The report claims that this would complicate the compatibility of the current Joy-Con with Switch 2.
Players have expressed their concern about this detail, as they would like to use all the controllers in their collection in the next Nintendo console. However, the media clarifies that the Pro controllers will be compatible with the hardware.
It is also mentioned that backward compatibility with Switch is a given and that the system would arrive in early 2025. Supposedly, Nintendo would already have the console ready for launch, but that it will take time to offer it with a more attractive catalog of games.
