Xbox decided to bring several of its exclusives to PlayStation and Nintendo, a decision that divided the opinion of many gamers. However, all indications are that Microsoft's new strategy is paying off, as several Xbox titles are dominating the pre-orders list on the PlayStation Store.

This is indicative that games like Sea of Thieves and Grounded have piqued the interest of PlayStation gamers and will register good sales levels on PlayStation 5. Because of this, some people believe that Xbox will decide to bring more of its games to Sony's console.

Sea of Thieves and Grounded have yet to debut on PlayStation 5; however, they are already a hit on the PlayStation Store. The various editions of Rare's game are in the top 10 best-selling pre-order titles on the store. Likewise, Obsidian's survival game is among the list.

Xbox games share the top with other notable upcoming games, such as the exclusive Stellar Blade, ELDEN RING: Shadow of the Erdtree, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game and more.

In fact, the Premium Edition of Sea of Thieves tops the list, while Grounded is in third place. This is certainly a good sign for Microsoft and Xbox, who decided to take some of their most popular games outside their ecosystem.

Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft Gaming, suggested that more Xbox games could be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo. In fact, a recent report claimed that most of the brand's games will come to the other consoles, provided the new strategy pays off.

Thanks to a survey, we know that PlayStation users have interest in several iconic Xbox franchises. Games like Sea of Thieves and Grounded are certainly interesting propositions for PS5 gamers, in part due to the lack of AAA from PlayStation Studios.
