Sony recently released an update for PlayStation 5 with attractive new features. The good news is that the company hasn't forgotten about PlayStation 4 gamers, so it also released an update with a couple of tweaks for the last-gen console.
What's included in the new PlayStation 4 update?
Despite PS5 being Sony's flagship system, PlayStation 4 still gets support from time to time. This week, the company released update 11.50, which is now available for download. As you can imagine, it includes minor tweaks to the console system.
According to the official PlayStation support site, the update includes performance and stability improvements for the system. That's not all, as it also makes improvements to the messaging section that were not detailed in the notes.
Finally, Sony claims that the update makes it easier to use some screens with PlayStation 4; however, it does not give more details about it. We're sorry to disappoint you if you were expecting any other kind of new features, as these are all additions to the 11.50 update.
PlayStation 4 still has a solid player base, as throughout its active life cycle it managed to sell more than 117 million units worldwide. This figure places it in the top 5 of the best-selling consoles in history.
