For months there have been rumors and reports about an alliance between LEGO and 2K Games to make several sports games. It is said that the companies will bet on soccer for their first big project; however, the title has not been officially confirmed.
Despite the above, an indisputable clue emerged this morning that the game is real and is on its way. We tell you this because LEGO 2K Goooal! was classified by an agency in Korea. Thus, it seems that its reveal is imminent.
LEGO 2K Goooal! could be revealed very soon
The Korea Games Classification and Administration Committee this morning revealed a registration for LEGO 2K Goooal!, a title that has yet to be revealed. This suggests that its submission is imminent, so it could be days or weeks away.
The filing is in the name of Take-Two Interactive, so it seems that the rumors are true. If the information is accurate, the LEGO-inspired project would be in the hands of Sumo Digital, a studio that has also not said anything about the title officially.
It's worth remembering that a figure related to the sports title was previously leaked, so it all seems a matter of waiting to find out.
