At the 2023 State of Play, Sony also shared news about important third-party games. Among them was Resident Evil 4, the ambitious remake Capcom is working on. As revealed, this project will feature a demo for you to try for free before its release.


At the State of Play, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 4 will have a "special demo". This is a test version about which there are not many details yet. However, it is likely to be similar to the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 demos.

Considering that Resident Evil 4 will arrive on March 24, it is most likely a matter of weeks before we know more about this remake. On the other hand, the trailer also confirmed that The Mercenaries mode will return. It also gave us a glimpse of several scenes from the remake, as well as the return of several characters that the community wanted to see.
