The last trailer for Octopath Traveler II introduced us to the merchant Partitio and the researcher Osvald. Now, it's time to welcome two additional cast members to the JRPG.
We meet new characters
With a new dedicated trailer, which you can watch below, the Square Enix team officially introduces Throné. The girl is a young thief raised by her parents in a large community of outlaws. Now grown up, she is determined to escape her family's oppression and seek freedom. Within Octopath Traveler II, Throné can rob the citizens of Solistia and harness powerful skills in combat.
On the other hand, Temenos is a man of faith, a cleric committed to spreading the creed. The man appears to harbor a mysterious past, which players will likely uncover during the adventure. Traveling around the continent of Solistia, Temenos can use his charisma to convince other citizens to follow him or reveal information to him.

In addition to the reveal of the two characters, the new trailer for Octopath Traveler II confirms the possibility of equipping the protagonists with a secondary Job. Next to the default assigned job, the game's heroes will thus be able to develop an additional one. This new feature layers the JRPG's combat system, making a secondary weapon and more skills available to each character.
