The great reception given to Bayonetta 3 is about to be passed on to international audiences, with Platinum Games' action now set to debut on Nintendo Switch.

The third adventure of the Witch of Umbra will be available on the hybrid console starting tomorrow, Friday, October 28, 2022. On the same date, Bayonetta 3 will also welcome a Day One Patch, refining the experience with a few tweaks.

What will the Day One patch bring?

Among these tweaks, it finds space to implement the Naive Angel Mode from thy beginning of the adventure, with a more extensive application in the game. The option, we recall, reduces the level of violence and sexual overtones present in Bayonetta 3. In addition to starting the title, the mode can be activated at the beginning of each chapter.

The Day One update distributed by Platinum Games also enables an online leaderboard ready to accommodate data on the community's best play performance. The board will house the most exciting results regarding the score and completion times of the different sections of Bayonetta 3.

In case you missed it: Hooray! The Witcher Remake is now in development.

Finally, Platinum Games confirms that it has made some changes to improve the adventure's overall balance. Some tweaks instead aim to make the gameplay experience smoother and more enjoyable.
