As you may know by now, Reddit is a beautiful and magical place. Here you can find stories, rumors, gossip, news, and anything and everything at the same time. Of course, most of the random stuff is random, and that’s that, but every once in a while, people stumble upon posts worth sharing. And here we have one for the Genshin fans.
It turns out that a Genshin Impact aficionado made a remarkable finding about the famous NPC mercenary of Eremites, Dehya, who is expected to become soon a playable character (fingers crossed!) On the official Genshin Impact subreddit, user OKUMURA_RlN has shared an interesting picture pointing out that she has two pairs of ears. The finding reached over 12.4k upvotes. While some fans claim that she uses the higher pair for better air ventilation in Sumeru's deserts, others say those aren't ears.
From the looks of it, the NPC is wearing a unique headpiece that simulates cat ears. Fans will have to wait for her official release (to be announced) to find out whether their theories are true or not. Since the latest update has been announced, Dehya might appear as a playable character until Version 3.2, which is set to come out on November 2. Rumor has it that she’ll have a five-star rarity due to her multiple appearances in recent Sumeru promotional videos.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development with no confirmed release date.
