The Last Of Us remake footage leaks online

The insider claimed there is 'no gameplay improvements’

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains a major spoiler warning for the first sequence in The Last of Us.

In the last few hours, images and videos of the remake leaked that should not have come to light, although this is not the first time the studio has had to deal with this problem. Before the release of The Last Of Us Part 2, spoilers flooded the internet along with gameplay clips.

First posted to ResetEra, then mirrored on Imgur, the images show Joel’s brother Tommy, Tess, and a brief clip of the game’s opening sequence. The user who leaked the footage claims that the game has “no gameplay improvements” and that these upgrades are primarily to animation and audio.

Gamers were still speculating recently that The Last Of Us Part 1 would adopt The Last Of Us Part 2’s improved movement and shooting mechanics.

It also assures that the game supports VRR and has two visual modes: one that would run at 4K and 40 fps and another with a dynamic resolution of 4K at 60 fps. Multiple accessibility options are similar to those of The Last of Us Part 2, and other details, such as being able to see Joel modifying the weapon, would also be added to the work.

If we want to see what the remake work that Naughty Dog has done on PlayStation 5 looks like, we will have to wait until September 2 of this year, when the game releases on Sony's next-generation console.
